World War 2 Military Watch

Hi Everyone, I have found a WW2 Military watch at a dealer and I'm trying to check its authenticity. I havent been able to inspect it personally but the seller has been kind enough to send pics and videos of the watch.
Seems to check most boxes but I have the following questions. Any expertise or insights would be greatly appreciated.

1. Crown: I thought these watches typically feature plain crowns. This one has an Omega crown. Has it been replaced? Would this impact value or collectability?
2. Strap pins: I believe they should be welded, but I see tiny hole impression on the lugs. Does that mean anything?
3. Case interior and movement photos are pending. What specific details should I look for to confirm authenticity?
4. What is the best online resource to look up the serial numbers.

Thanks a lot.

At first glance the case is ok, the dial and hands aren't.

Thank you. Would you mind elaborating please? Do you mean the Dial and hands seem to have been changed/painted?

It isn't a repainted original dial, the dial is not from an Omega WWW, check the size of the sunken sub dial, the hands are simply incorrect which you will easily see in comparison to a good example..
