Hey guys, I have a Seamaster like this and it is by the doctor waiting for a complete restoration. I have a problem right now with the plexy. Very difficult to find the proper like this on the picture , with lupe on date. May someone could tell me a code or something that helps to find it on the net? Many many thanks to everyone that could help me

They're called L crystals, I believe. And I don't think they're available from Omega so you're stuck trying to find someone who may have kept a stock pile.

In order to assist, the case number is required. Omega still sells these for many models...

The case number is 2849 4 sc

So for this case you have two options for crystals with magnifiers...

063PZ5140LC - this has a rectangular magnifier.

063PZ5140LR - this has a round magnifier.

Bothe of these are available from Omega, so any watchmaker with a parts account can purchase and fit this for you.

Cheers, Al

The fact your watchmaker doesn't have this info concerns me.
I would look for someone local with an Omega parts account and handles Omega's
This should be basic for a watchmaker, these are common parts not something most competent watch makers would send their client on the search for.

Ok: it seems to be (the 063PZ5140LR) out of stock by omega. Someone maybe could help me? Many thanks in advance

No, as I said Omega still has these, but you will have to find a watchmaker with a parts account to get it for you.

@Archer @WatchTimes
The plexy is still available by omega BUT In Italiy the Situation is this: the only way to have the new plexy is to send the watch to OMega ch and let do a complete service. At well know Omega rates....I had this info from the oldest authorized Omega dealer in Itali (Astrua 1860)
So: I’m actually open to any possible solutions: if in your country this plexy is available I could by there (maybe)

Perhaps you should send it to someone who can also get the crystal and let them do the entire service. I doubt that someone will simply sell you the crystal unless you can find someone with a stock of them. And I guess you've already looked.

I don't know why your AD can't get the part, but I wouldn't assume that they necessarily can speak for every watchmaker in your country. They might claim that, but you won't know until you ask around. @Archer already indicated that an actual watchmaker with a parts account can order those crystals, so I think you should contact some other options one by one.

No problem to ship the watch to another watchmaker. But I would like to stay in Europe, because of both costumers and shipping costs. Is there anybod7 any suggest watchmakers? I’m based in Italy but no problem to send it to Germany or UK.

Ok, I was in touch with some of the the oldest omega official dealers in Italy and most reputates independent watch makers in my country. Both told the same story. Simply no way to have parts for repair outside head office in Swiss. Don’t exist anyone that could have “Parts account”. The only way to repair it seems to be send to omega for a complete service.
Those are factual information, not “I heard that...” If goes different in other countries (for sure) please let me know.

Since I have a parts account, I can verify that they do exist...
