I can participate in this one 👍

My very first tattoo was a matching his an her tiny t-rex on mine and my wifes wrist. It was the cutesy idea that they can finally, with their tiny arms, “hug” when my wife and I hold hands.

My second tattoo was the adventure is out there because my wife and I love to travel. Got this one in Portland

My third tattoo was Baymax as I loved how he was designed- personal healthcare companion, inspirer, and kick ass body guard. Got this one in Florida after spending a week at Disney World.

I love Harry Potter and am a Hufflepuff (for anyone who cares) and picked up a Deathly Hallows tattoo along with the word “Smile” on my wrist as my fourth and fifth.

That is it for the moment. All of these are on my left arm, which I plan to have reserved for the random assortment. I’m currently saving up for sleeve to go on my right arm.

Gorgeous ... I'm in the counting tattoos via hours rather than pieces.

Most you can't really see the anchor tribute on my left wrist for my dad.

And my right arm is done in a cyber-biomechanical motif.

My last was a tribute for my mom after she passed. left ribs

I wondered what time related tattoo wasn't the same pocket watch set to dates, or sands of time, or other watch head. A movement as a drawing ... this gives me ideas!

My wife has cystic fibrosis, which is a lung disease. It’s sometimes referred to as 65 roses. A kid back in the 60’s I believe, couldn’t say cystic fibrosis properly and it sounded like 65 roses. That nickname has stuck since then.

I don't know why I am just now seeing this but good spot on the hat. Yup, I definitely am 👍

And technically not a range finder 😉 My favorite point and shoot film camera. Beats out the Contax T2, which I have both. I'm squinting in the above image because both the viewing window to look in the back of the camera and window on the front to see out of (next to the flash) are really small. These images taken from eBay

This thread is great. I like what @RevZMan123 said about “hours rather than pieces” and think I’m in the same camp. This is also making me realize that it’s been almost 10 years since I was last tattooed. Here are a few I was able to take from where I’m sitting in my dark living room after several drinks, so please excuse the quality of the pics.

First, some outer space. I actually brought my college astronomy book to the tattoo shop to pull references from for this one, and it’s about 15 years old.

next is a lighthouse that actually might be my favorite tattoo, but I never get to see it because it’s on the back of my arm. This was also one of my earliest tattoos and was applied almost 20 years ago.

This next one was one of the most recent tattoos I’ve received, and I’ve been enjoying it’s company for over 10 years at this point. I think my direction on this one was, “I want a horse that is going into battle.” Inspired by a song titled Dark Horse by my favorite band (which is not Katy Perry).

Very cool. I always wanted a tattoo of the Barnegat Lighthouse, i have to get back to that idea for sure.

I'll post some more tomorrow.

mind you, back in 2004 the idea of having full sleeve tattoos and being employed in an office setting was much different than today....

In 2004, I moved to Southern California, and actually had talked to 3 different studios to do something like this...

ps.... not my pic or sleeve.
