    image.jpg what do you think about this watch. legit? The " Wittnauer " writing looks off to me. The letters look uneven.
    Or am I just being too picky?

    I don't think anyone would fake those hands;) They're awesome.
    The lettering looks a little wonky.

    It's no harder to fake a watch with a more prominent name (Rolex, Omega, Patek, Heuer, Longines), than it would be to create a bogus Wittnauer. More proof that is real would be required, but it could very well be legit.

    This is true. But the financial incentive is significantly lower. This is why you don't see anybody faking IKEA furniture.

    The letters look uneven because they are printed on an uneven background (linen dial).

    If you magnify that photo, the lettering looks more even.
