You see that kind of sloppiness all over the place, and in this context it just makes me think, "If they're sloppy about that, what else are they sloppy about? Provenance? Servicing (if any has been done)? Money laundering?" Maybe not, but the suspicion wells up in your mind. It's just damaging their own reputation for the sake of a couple of minutes checking something.
Staring to wonder if the official Omega pricing for the Spacemaster Z-33 falls into this category. I see it on sale quite a bit online and passing through Frankfurt today saw it on sale at Christ in the airport for EUR 3,500.

This qualifies. I wouldn't pay $5975 for a stainless steel Constellation, and certainly not after you remove the explosive material! That's the most valuable part of the Constellation!
