I received this polerouter date just recently. Case as you can see, is very polished.

Wondering if this case from ebay will house the dial/movement

I wouldn't imagine it would, based on the different stem of the electric.

Is it really that polished? Or is it one of the later Polerouters with less of the bombay lugs?

It will be 869113/02.

It doesn't look overly polished but it's hard to tell from the photo.

Have a look at pictures of other watches with the 869113 case reference - I think the OP's watch will compare favourably.
