    Hi,

guys I've just bought my first omega watch! I just want to change the crone on this watch, because it is probably not original. Recently I've found a crone in ebay (4,4mm x 2,8mm x 2,0mm) will this match my Omega geneve 1660173? If not can you help me find the right one please :)

    Mine says hello!

I've tried to take a couple of pix of my crown which I believe is original if a little worn.

Looks similar but not exactly the same which I don't think is just wear - it has the correct number of ridges but my Omega symbol sits on a flat spot face.

Sorry for the poor quality but you might be better trying to source an exact match using a case reference I believe mine is 166.0173-366.083

    Good luck

Mine also seems to have a different crystal shape - with less of a pronounced shoulder - but I'm not sure if mine is original since it doesn't have the omega symbol in the centre. Does yours?

Well the seller said that in the 1970s there was also used original omega crones without logo in the center, but I really don't believe him :D
