When i asked my AD last week if he could give me any hint about the new models that will be announced next month, one of them was that there will be at least one new PO that will have an orange bezel. He wouldn't say more.

Me too! I think mine is older yet, with the non-ceramic and now dinged up and faded bezel. Bought it new in 2010, and it was on my wrist every day, 24/7, until I got a new Speedmaster Pro last month.

It would be nice, but they seem to have trouble making orange-colored ceramic, which is why they've been using rubber on the current 8900 POs.

If Rolex can make red ceramic, orange should be very possible.

Have to appreciate a watch actually being "worn"!

Or it could be an issue of volume/scale. I dare say they don’t sell that many ploprofs - at least very few in comparison to the volume of POs they sell.

Lots of love for orange, owned this one for over five years and no intention of parting with it

As it came up yesterday lol. The platinum GMT has orange ceramic as well as a now discontinued Ploprof.

I would not mind seeing an orange bezel but numbers should not be orange that’s just to much and one of the reasons I sold it.

Both of these were of course very high volume sellers and prove that an orange ceramic bezel could be made in the 1000s each year with no issues :D

I'm thinking 2019 is the year of gold...not orange...;)...
