I have a blue Omega Seamaster Heritage in blue. If I want to switch it to black will Omega switch out the dial and bezel to black if I pay for it.

Possibly, but why not just sell yours and buy a preowned black dial model in top condition? What would you do with the blue dial if you were to swap it out?

Omega reportedly will "convert" one watch of an original, official reference to another original, official reference. Really, @gbesq offers the best advice. Easier to just have a parts account holder do it for you or just pull up stakes and sell the blue for the black.

Also, be advised that the "black" dial is not so much black as it is a dark flat charcoal color. It's very attractive, but if you are expecting a shiny dark black you're going to be disappointed.

All valid points. I was just thinking the cost might be cheaper if I can’t find a preowned one and time it may take to sell mine. It’s not a deal breaker. Any idea what the cost might be?

It won't be cheap. No idea of the exact cost, but replacement dials aren't inexpensive to begin with and this one is a sandwich dial so I would expect it to be quite expensive. I don't think that you'll fnd it very difficult to sell yours if it's in good condition and fairly priced. Watchcharts.com shows an average market price of $4,318 for preowned sales and you can purchase a brand new full kit black dialed version right here on OF in the "watches for sale" forum for just under 5k.

You might even be able to trade your blue dial for black dial for minimal additional cost. The blue dial is slightly more popular imho.
