My wife has decided she now wants a omega diver of some type. Here’s are stipulations=
1, face size 38-41
2. Must have or accept a good quality silicone / rubber strap ( hopefully integrated some way)
3. Colors not important ( to a degree)
4. Thanks for any any all suggestions

When you say “face size” do you mean across the dial only? Or across the dial and bezel? Because if it’s the former, that’s pretty big and even the full size mens divers don’t have a dial 41mm across.

Dial only I shouid say , as an omega diver 300 seamaster is 42

Now I’m confused. So does she want a watch that is “midsized” watch that is 37-38mm across the case without crown, or up to 42mm which is big for even me with 7.5” wrists?

ok, now that we have established she wants a mid-size diver, the only current option from Omega is in the Planet Ocean line at 39.5 mm. It’s quite thick, though.

if she just wants a watch that can go in the water (and doesn’t want a rotating bezel and 600m water resistance), then there are smaller Aqua Terra watches. They are not “dive” watches, but are quite capable of going in the pool or ocean for a swim.

Wasn’t there a blue dialed Seamaster a few years ago that was midsized and rather svelt?

Quite a few mid-sized. Heck, even the "full-size" "Pre-Bond" Seamaster 200 isn't all that large, and they have a women's version.

Sounds like the previous generation Seamaster SMPc with the solid dial color ( no wave dial). That comes in at 41mm and can be had with rubber strap. Get a new unworn version which is likely out there with a little hunting.
