Why no “Pepsi” Omega?

Well, to maybe bring this full circle, I just scratched my “Pepsi” itch thanks to the folks in this thread. I learned many things, but since Omega doesn’t technically have a regular Pepsi watch, I went with a less expensive model, the Seiko SKX009. As it turns out, it was kind of an iconic watch back in the day as an inexpensive, quality dive watch. I picked up mine on eBay and it has basically been sitting new in the box for over 5 years. It was like opening up a time capsule. Anyways, I decided to put on a black rubber rally strap with red stitching instead of the original rubber strap and I love it. Thanks again for indulging my question and regardless of what some think of the red/blue bezel combo, I love it. 😊
