Why no “Pepsi” Omega?

Hi all and thanks for indulging my first rather simple question to the group. I am relatively new to collecting watches although I have always worn and had watches. I am drawn to Omega and select watches that resonate with me. I have a 300M Seamaster, a Speedo, a Dynamic chrono, a 176.007, a DeVille Prestige and a 1950s era pie pan. That said, when I look at the WRUW thread, the style that is drawing me in now is a Pepsi style watch. Rolex, Tudor, Seiko, Tag, and others have a diver watch in this look, but I can’t find an Omega version. Am I just not finding it or did Omega decide not to go in that direction?

Thanks and also, thanks for such a cool forum. I waste way too much time on this site. 😊

Because Omega have the good taste to know that Pepsi is bloody awful sickly muck, and Coke is better 🤣

I'm glad they don't do it. That "pepsi" color combination is awful and tasteless imo.

I think this is a beautiful watch but I guess I have no taste…😊
That's a Coke bezel, is it not?

Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, even Moxie...they're all loaded with sugar. Stopped drinking that crap years ago.

They call it a coke bezel but red/black isn't the corporate colours of Cocacola they are red/white, indeed the reason for the choice of those colours was back in the early days Coke used 2nd hand barrels and they used red paint to cover the original branding on the barrels.
I know this because used to work for them and they used to feed us corporate history.

Perhaps you could look for a watch with a clear "Water" 💦 bezel 🤣

There is a blue and red America's Cup PO, I think. Kind of odd looking.

The OP could have chosen a much better picture, but that reference does have a blue bezel.

So does Omega have a coke bezel watch? I don’t really like some of those tribute Omegas like the America’s Cup, especially when they mess with the seconds hand. Too corny in my opinion.

That is a nice looking watch. I may just need to get the Tudor.

Ugh lots of issues with that. It’s not just a cheaper Pepsi. It’s thicker and not as nice on the wrist.

And I’m wearing a Tudor sub right now with the same problem.
