Yesterday, I uncharacteristically wore a Quartz watch to work. I got into a tiff with a co-worker, where he was sending some serious negative energy in my direction. I didn't let it get to me, an countered it with all the positive energy I could muster. Is the fact that my watch is still running a consequence of the two opposite charges cancelling each other out?

 

Well, karmic energy works in mysterious ways. I think you're actually lucky that the battery didn't full discharge during this event.

Could have been worse though..... you could have "lost" your watch at the bottom of the water cooler.

In practice, it is flux, rather than "cancellation" that makes the world go round and makes watches work. In the long run and at the cosmic scale, thing will settle down (disclosure: I speak only from the perspective of this spatial-temporal realm and exclude consideration of multiverse scenarios for purpose purpose simplification). In the meantime, it's the Flux that keeps things ticking. For this, we need both negative and positive. I am sure there will be plenty of both on this thread - our watches and power reserves are sure to benefit.
