Who’s Your Favorite Bond Girl?

I’ve never seen a Bond movie, let alone having never seen Honor Blackman in a movie. But now that you ask, I think she’s a dish!

Blackman was the original female sidekick (Cathy Gale) of John Steed in the early Avengers TV series episodes.
Her character left the series in the third season when Blackman was cast in Gold Finger.

I don’t think that they’ll ever make Bond a woman, but they’ve already changed Moneypenny’s role to be more of an agent, at least at times.

I definitely agree! Naomie Harris would have been the perfect replacement for Craig!

Lots of choice in my favourite bond movie; OHMSS.
Diana - my all time No. 1

Jenny Hanley - on the right (possibly my first crush; from Magpie on UK TV - I wouldn't have seen any Hammer Horror at that age)

Angela Scoular

Joanna Lumley (future New Avenger, after Honor and Diana)

All impressive, of course, but Diana Rigg was different gravy.

Getting more gender fluid there were rumours that Sean Bean tried out as a Bond Girl but failed to get to grips with the part as Heidi Salami..So he had to settle as Alex Trevelyan instead and left the Bond Girl honours to Xenia Onatopp….

Blackman is lovely, but in Goldfinger her character was a flight instructor and head of an aerobatics team, yet when her plane went into a dive she didn't know how to bring it out and Bond had to climb up from the passenger cabin into the copilot's seat and save them both. Can we get a woman in a demanding occupation who knows how to do her job?

2 come to mind, 1 a Bond girl, "M"(Judi), the other not related and I don't want to politicize the thread.

Oh, I forget my bride!

Judi Dench as "M" was good until she got in a firefight in Skyfall. She should have been a good shot and, if not as physical as Bond, at least kept her head, seen warning signs, and carry out a plan as well as Bond.

I think a few people would be calling May Day with Grace Jones after them..... 72 years old and still performing concerts. Mr Bond has met his match on occasion.....

Overall, my vote has to be with Eva Green:

But there is so much old school glamour amongst the earlier Bond films, and I would say that Claudine Auger comes a close second for me...

Severine from Skyfall, played by Bérénice Marlohe.
I like her but her role was so minor in Skyfall similar to Monica Bellucci in Spectre and Gemma Arterton in QoS. They were all there and then gone from the story.

True, but technically a Bond girl on most of the lists.
