ETH by the way has gone up 66% in a span of a week. Massively down from it's all time high though but still. Pretty sure a lot of people will make some money again.

Better a Daytona 馃榿 no doubts
Yep. I spent about $15,000 on bitcoin when it was at $9k. Thank God Coinbase limited transaction amounts to $7,500 per week, or who knows what kind of trouble I would have got in. 馃槈

I now sort of wish I would have bought a watch instead!

But, we'll see what happens in 2019. 馃憤

Never ever! Bitcoin = new and risky
Watches = old and increasing value

No match in my opinion!

I have thought about it, and had some offers in that regard. Still just scared by the "Bitcoin".

I'd sell for bitcoin, it still has worth and is considered a commodity. You can instantly turn the btc back to Fiat so why not.

No thank you. Any form of currency/investment that is not at least partially regulated by the government is not something that I want to be involved in. Not saying never, just not now.

Now the question is:

Would you sell a watch for Dogecoin?

You can wear your Speedmaster on the moon...

I love a good hindsight thread.
Never thought I鈥檇 see 20k bitcoin and consider that cheap but it has happened, this is the way.

Haha. I sold a little bitcoin for a watch the other day - going the other way around!

Ha. I threw a few k at Doge a couple of weeks ago based on the hype. Don't believe in it, just thought it could be fun.

Sold down 40% of my holding last week which was enough to cover my initial investment, and now I have 5,400 out there for free. Been a fun ride so far!

Once I get to the point where I understand it, I doubt it will still exist.

I sold some of my Doge for a Speedmaster 馃榾
I bought Doge back in 2013 or so when it was nearly worthless. Sold about 1/3 of my total last week while it was at a high, as I just had a feeling it would all go to hell after Elon on SNL. I'm so glad I did!

I never gave this a thought until coming across this thread.. with everyone and their dog into crypto, it鈥檚 hard not to have Bitcoin cross your mind from time to time.

I鈥檓 definitely leaning toward accepting Bitcoin for my next watch sale 馃榾

TBH after recent events I'd be more wary of transacting in bitcoin, at least if you want liquidity. Recent transactions seem to have gone something like:

1) sell watch for 20k btc
2) Elon tweets something
3) you now have 12k
