So what does the Muppet (me 😜) who keeps repeating that "you can't trust anything that Doxa says" go and do?
He takes their above quoted statement so literally that he believes he has until 22nd May to make his payment as Doxa won't be shipping anything until then. Wrong. 🤦
He believes he is still in line for an 'early' limited edition number as Doxa stress that orders will be issued in the sequence pre-orders were placed. Wrong again. At least this is what you'd have to assume based on various posts on other forums. 😒

Oh well. No big deal I suppose.
I just hope that the two day delay I left making payment doesn't now mean I'll have to wait another two or three weeks for shipping.

Oh to return to the simple days when these silly caseback engravings didn't get us all so worked up 😉 because they didn't exist 😎

Hi @Emeister I dont think you have anything to worry about... From what I understand Doxa is shipping in order of the depost not final payment ( unless you dont pay your final payment .) Doxa planning on send out emails next week... to all preorders to make final payments....

I'm at the stage where I'm really trying not to stress about the stuff I have no control of.

I did type up a rather lengthy response about my 'concerns' with Doxa's processes and communications but in the end it isn't going to change anything. [I do still believe that 'later' orders have already been shipped, though we won't know the 'xxx/500 numbers until they actually start arriving. Some people already have FedEx ETA's of Monday 21st].

Bottom line, for me, is that I've paid my final balance.
I'm not at all concerned about not having received a shipping confirmation yet, because it's the weekend 😎.
Sometime in the not too distant future there will be a new watch on my doorstep and then on my wrist, being enjoyed.

I hope you're enjoying yours too very soon Bill 👍

I just read WUS ... and people are saying the opposite...

The customer service guy i TALKED to ..... confirmed I paid and looked me up in the queue... and told me it will be about 3 weeks before mine ships... and I sent payment Friday East coast time.... will let you know if i get any " inbound" fedex notice sooner then later.

It's so hard to stay away 😁 but so frustratingly pointless at the same time. Unless I want to "remember Cheryl Ladd and try not to smile when I see what she looks like today" 😜

And I did notice a familiar name having a little stir of the pot over there 😉 😁

At least I have now learnt that Doxa Admin on WUS is USA based. I had always assumed that they were part of the European head office based upon their use of English in some of their posts. I now know not to beat my head on a wall by asking them anything, though they did reply to one of my statements in the past couple of days; just never to any of my questions 😀

I have an account, but I was having trouble finding a link to click on to see it. And I wasn't getting any emails from DOXA. So I clicked on "view invoice" in the webpage confirmation that I saved from my first payment. It made me log in and took me to my account. All of my payments say completed (I found the link this weekend to make final payment when I realized I wasn't getting my emails from DOXA).

Today I found out from Andy at DOXA that a lot of their emails are being rejected as SPAM and they don't know why. I didn't find a copy of my first receipt from March 20th in my junk mail, but I did find the receipt for my April 15th payment for the matching yellow strap, as well as the final payment that I just made on May 19th.

The missing pre-order receipt was probably automatically deleted after a certain number of days in the junk folder. I've added DOXA to my contacts and moved the mail from junk, just in case.

Andy says that they plan to ship up to 50 a day based on pre-order payment date, as long as the customer was responsive to the request for final payment, and that mine should go out next week. The fact that I paid the final payment before the request was sent just means that mine wont be delayed in shipping when it's my turn.

My estimates were that I might be between order #350-400. Andy says about 15 shipped yesterday and 50 today, with another 50 or so tomorrow.

Now it is scheduled to be delivered on the only day I travel 😲🙁😡

I got shipping notification yesterday, you know that feeling right before weekend. It has to travel like 300 kilometers. This piece has many firsts in it for me. I always wanted a doxa since i got into watches, this was one of the first pieces i knew ill get. I could not decide on color for years and then new divingstar
1st preorder with that waiting time, all the other preordes i joined where immediately sent.
