Best Subaru ad I have seen! 馃憤

Roughly the same power in each (225 hp) but the delivery was completely different. The Foz was subtle like a sledgehammer but the Outback just glides along.

My mom liked my Forester so much she bought one too, but it wasn鈥檛 a turbo. After she passed I drove it around until we sold it and it was so strange as it was almost exactly the same as mine inside. However, reality would come back to me when it shifted into 2nd gear and there was nothing there.

Same here.
I'm not getting paid to advertise them so every new car I get I remove the number plate surrounds/rear window stickers/boot or hatch emblems.

I am such a nightmare that the only clothing I accept is black tee-shirts and standard Levi鈥檚.

Same here, I never by any item of clothing with a brand name on the outside, don't see the manufacturer paying me to advertise their product or sponsor my wearing it.
Same goes for cars, go faster stripes and all.
I'll never be in the cool gang! or put it another way I wear my cool on the inside not the outside.

But you will wear a watch with the manufacturer's name on the dial, I guess 馃槑

Or even worse an Invicta with its name lasered into the sides in letters 4 foot tall lol.

Thankfully watch brand names are harder to spot or display though I met up with a fellow collector by chance yesterday and his first words were " What watch are you wearing? "

Rocky, looking out over the Southern Ocean.

Nothing for him to see though, the next land mass is Antartica.

I drive this Peugeot 308 SW, courtesy of my employer.

I also own a Toyota Yaris, which is essentially my wife's car.

Just like our watches, my current car largely goes unnoticed (except for rare enthusiasts). I actually prefer it that way. I get to enjoy the DTS surround sound in complete anonymity. The V8 has nice little touches like titanium valves springs. Yet I can park it anywhere and not worry.

I owned it once before, sold it, then missed it greatly... so I contacted the buyer and I bought it back. It's the perfect car, in my opinion.

Don鈥檛 think I鈥檝e posted in this thread. Like others here I am a veedub fan. Have a GTI Mk 7.5 doing duty for family and son, but also have modern Minis in our midst. My not-daily-drivers are P-cars having gotten hooked on 911s quite a while back.

I鈥檝e had a Couple of Porsches - 997, 991 and currently enjoying the 992 Targa View attachment 1789250
Nice, how do you find the targa compared to the convertible in terms of wind noise and usability? I鈥檝e never been in a targa but they do look incredibly cool

The targa is great. Prefer it to the convertible as it鈥檚 a more cocooned feel yet still get the open air buzz. Wind and noise is pretty much on par tbh as long as the wind deflector is up. Some buffetting if it鈥檚 down. Overall the 992 is a massive step forward over the 991, which is awesome already. The next gen 992 is being unveiled tomorrow

Nice, al the Porsches. I have a fond memory of a 996, the one with the strange headlights. Wanted to buy one for my whole life. When i had the opportunity to really get one, i did some test driving. Onfortunately, its not the best car for a man with long legs and 1.96m height..

Yea I鈥檓 still using a much slower NA 991.1S but I think it鈥檚 going to be my forever car at this point as I like the NA engine too much at this stage.

I鈥檓 hoping to be pleasantly surprised by 992.2 but the new grill from the mules doesn鈥檛 look great and losing the physical tachometer for an all digital feels like a bit of a downgrade.

I know what you mean but undoubtedly the new gen will be a step forward. Each iteration improves and some people prefer earlier versions and some like the newness. You really can鈥檛 go wrong with a 911 whichever camp you鈥檙e in. Amazingly practical daily drivers. mine get used for everything and doesn鈥檛 miss a beat

Yea same I'm up to 105k kms on mine now, put on nearly half of that since buying it 4 years ago and taken it everywhere, even through a flash flood which they do well in as the intake is sort of a snorkel at the back there lol
