Hi guys, will like to share some pics of a recent addition bought from a member here. It was by chance that I was able to purchase this and will like to express my thanks to him.:) On to the pics and no, the member did not clean "CONSTELLATION" off the dial.:D

Not the correct crown but the package came with a correct 10-sided crown.

I'm sure Watchco had one of those dials about a week ago (with all of the text etc.).

Looks like it's gone. And it was exy, about $400 I think.

That watchco dial was for a cal. 501/505 and would not be correct for this watch.

Yes, which jives with the missing Constellation script on the dial.

JimInOz, I think you need to read this article:

    http://users.tpg.com.au/mondodec//Globemasterpost.pdf

One of the better Globemaster dials I've seen in a long time.

    Congrats!

    Uh Oh!

Thanks Gator, I read that about a year ago and forgot it. Mind must have been focussed on what was missing, rather than what didn't need to be there.

Either that or Old Timer's disease is creeping up on me.

    Cheers
    Jim

Well, there's no excuse for not knowing my vintage Omegas any more.

That's a great reference, and even better if you get it from Santa (the cost could interfere with watch purchase money).
