Jane Seymour (Solitaire in Live and Let Die) back in the day...

Of the more recent Bond girls, I agree with some others here, Eva Green as Vesper Lynd.

Who else remembers the other (in)famous movie Corrine Clery was in? 😉

Bond trivia quiz: Who are the actresses that have appeared in MAJOR roles in the Bond franchise (ie, cameos don’t count) more than once?

Meanwhile outside the franchise, Ursula Andress also appeared as Vesper Lynd in the 1967 Casino Royale.

If they have an alternative Bond “girl” then they will need to bring back Pierce Bronson as 007

I don’t think that they’ll ever make Bond a woman, but they’ve already changed Moneypenny’s role to be more of an agent, at least at times.

While Framke Janson is my dream girl I did not like her character in the Bond film.
All around finest female in the Bond films, to my much more mature eye these days, is Lois Maxwell , Miss Money Penny.
The most developed of the female characters in the Bond films. Lois played the part from 1962-1985.

Also since she never put out for Bond she maintained her mystery. Turned out she rather liked James but she was just way out of his league. She dated only high ranking officials, princes and billionaires.

Her epaulette, although oddly spaced, seems to be Superintendent WRNS (0F-5), and Bond just a lowly Commander RN (Ret). So military discipline wouldn't permit any hanky-panky. (Yeah, right!) Besides she would have read all the reports of the fate of Bond's "attachments".

This PC crap will destroy the franchise... not that I care much.

I guess it depends on what, in your mind, “pc” means, and the resulting reason it is - in your view - necessarily “crap.”

Especially since, you’ve not had the benefit of even a trailer for the (imaginary) movie that might result, which would seem to be the bare minimum required to have any substantive opinion of whether the (imaginary) movie is good or bad.

Looks like two stripes, for an OF-2, to me. I'm thinking neither of them wanted to go beyond a flirtation since they worked together.
