Today I have been both unlucky and lucky. I took my white shadow out for the first time in a while and decided to go for a walk. Halfway through said walk I noticed that the gold "U" on the clasp had become detached. Needless to say this was quite annoying as this watch is/was 100% complete and original. I retraced my steps all the way back home and couldn't find it. It was only upon looking in my watch box that I found it sitting there in the bottom....phew, very lucky.



From the looks of it the glue just gave up. It new needs to be reattached so I'm guessing I just need to clean both surfaces and get some appropriate glue. Has anyone had to do this before and could recommend a glue that will do the job well? Last thing I want is for this to happen again.
