Hey guys,

I need your input. I own a '69 Speedy and I'm very happy with it.

Now I feel the urge for a second watch.
Preferably white/silver dialed.
Chrono or other complication.
SS or WG
Iconic design.
€2-3k range
Vintage.
38-42mm

I love the Heuer 2447 or Heuer Camaro, but prices have seem to just go bananas on these.

If you have any recommendations please share them. Pics appreciated.

The Camaro fits right into your price range, and there's one at Christies in December. You can also still find 3647S Carreras for just a tiny stretch above your price range - though those are 36mm. You could also go for a Poor Man's Heuer, by Zodiac, Hamilton, Clebar etc.

 

Haven't seen decent Camaros around for that price unfortunately

 

The Heuer Carrera 1964 re-issue CS3110 might be for you. The case is nearly identical to the original Carrera. I have the CS3113 and can attest to its similarity to my other, original Carreras. The only hangup for me is that the re-issue crystal is not the same type or rounded-edge as the original, but it is still a lovely watch to wear.

I also thought the watch might be for me, but I don't know, something is off.
It does not have the same brilliance the original Singer dial has in my eyes.
