My opinion of Grand Seiko went way up, the April Fools ninja model is awesome, they don’t take themselves too seriously. I liked it.

Best part is that they say “the Omega logo should be a separate piece of metal that is attached to the dial. If it is painted on, you’re looking at a fake” and “A fake Omega will have a second hand that continues to move even when you’re adjusting the time”, and then show a Cosmic with a printed logo that doesn’t have a stop seconds function.

There's several other things wrong in that article. Unfortunately, I couldn't leave a comment to tell the author just how wrong they are.

The internet is FULL of idiots posing as experts. We even get some here occasionally, but we run them out of town with torches and pitchforks.

I’m with you on that. Just True Facet is a pretty large watch reselling business like Crown and Caliber. You would think an article from them less then a year old would have good info. I’m struggling to find anything correct in that post.

Worse, we use satire and sarcasm.

I only pointed out the ones where the article proved itself wrong without external help.
