    If you're making a purchase, what watch do you wear to get the best prices at any retailer?

    Better would have been
    What watch makes you angry every time you look at it?
    Which of your watches do you like the least?
    How many of your watches does your spouse not know about?

    Nobody gives a better price for a fancy watch. It’s like driving a Porsche or Mercedes: you know that every other driver resents or hates you. You might get better service, but no way cheaper.

    And certainly nobody’s heard of a great deal because some poor guy was wearing a shitty watch and the seller felt sorry for him.

    They are called Jesus shoes. They are very comfortable. Incredibly comfortable. I do not wear them in the presence of the wife. But she is gone for the weekend, so I decided to wear them. Also wearing the Apollo 20th, which is piece #4 of the SDC.
