Which vintage Omega are you wearing today?

Today, I am unable to answer the question as to which vintage Omega I am wearing. I’m actually wearing two, as I do on most days.

My choices for today are my 28-year old Speedmaster, this one not being the numbered one commemorating the Apollo XI landing on the moon. But to the best of my knowledge, it is the same as the numbered edition. This one has the crystal back and the gold colour movement.

The other one is a “survivor”. A type of watch that many look down on. This one came to me after having been almost demolished by the previous owner. Caliber 351 bumper automatic, replacement Omega case, dial and hour hand from a donor Omega, hand made case clamp, new mainspring, and recondition. Crown is generic. Who among us doesn’t have room for at least one survivor. Good runner, and sweat equity adds value.

I picked this up a few years ago with no info, but thought it looked ok for less than 200 GBP. I wear it infrequently, but like the understated simplicity.

It's a manual wind, but beyond that (having never opened it up) I'm not expert enough to know quite what it is. Any thoughts?

Seamaster 30

Not sure how original, though.

Ah yes, I've looked at a few now; thanks. Without the "Seamaster 30" script it's likely a redial?

This one. Jumbo (38 mm), caliber 266, 20 micron gold filled case, rose gold. Circa 1950. Crown is not original, but the rest is completely original. I am the second owner. Acquired it about 15 years ago.

Beautiful watch thak you for sharing. What is the reference number? If you do not mind.

Could be a 131.019. Looks a bit the same.

If you mean your own watch, that is definitely an original dial. Probably a 280 series movement though could just be a 600 or 601.

Hi all. I'm a recent addition to the forum and new owner of a 30.10 bumper below.
Thanks to @stuart1haggert for sorting me out 😀
