Yes which should I get is a over used topic, but still wanted some thoughts not bought anything watch related since October and needing something new, well two. I need a proper dress watch and semi durable watch(I have none).
I will do pictures then explain them.

For dress watch purposes, I like none of the above. If you made me choose one, I'd say the Seamaster DeVille. But the condition scares me.

The Bulova should also qualify, but it has significant wear through. It shouldn't be too tough to find one in better condition at a reasonable price.

To me, a proper dress watch should be smaller than a sport watch (32mm to 38mm diameter) and preferably 14K or 18K gold. It should be slim enough to fit under the cuff of a dress shirt, even if automatic.

    Keep searching.

Do a bit of research on the Longines Grand Prize ( movement )

It ain't called the grand prize for nothing.

    My example.

I would look for a DeVille or a Seamaster. There are some decent Longines like the Conquest as well. Something like this one should fit your needs. This one just a simple Seamaster, but the condition was nice enough for me to keep it. :)

If you don't mind trying out some less conservative models, you should look into late 60's to early 70's Tissot. There is a huuuuge amount of these for sale, often in very nice condition and in my experience they are fantastic watches. Basic workhorse movements, but capable of good accuracy.

    how big are the wrists?

if you've got relatively thin wrists then as a dress watch you might look at a 14k gold/GF/RGP rectangle from the 30's thru to the 50's. Any of the usual suspects (Hamilton/Waltham/Elgin) will suffice. they look very classy with a suitable vintage style strap (super thin) that will fit under any sort of cuff no problems at all.

for the hard wearer then everybody should have a Seiko diver of some sort. You can even "dress" them up to a certain extent with a nice strap.

not something I'd wear as either a dress watch or as a vintage "daily beater".

This one, on a proper leather band (black or chocolate brown), would be a good choice.

That is, assuming the movement is in good shape after a good cleaning.

@kyle L , if you were to find a Seamaster in similar condition, what might it go for?
