Which parts of this GP Omega buckle are authentic?

I bought this a while ago for a hefty price on eBay, so I avoided asking for advice out of fear of bad news.

However, I’d now like to have my initial thoughts confirmed.

I thought this GP buckle had a high chance of being legit because of the detailing on the omega logo, and how the markings largely conformed with the sticky omega buckles thread in the forum. The “20” marking is an odd addition though.

I don’t think the pin is the original, as it is slightly misaligned and appears to be worse in quality (especially compared to an SS buckle I have). I also think the colour is slightly different to the rest of the buckle.

The buckle did not come with the original thick springbar


My analysis is, this is indeed an original buckle, but it came with a generic pin and springbar.

I would be grateful to hear others opinions please.

Having looked back at the “omega buckles” thread, I may be getting pin and tongue mixed up.

I meant tongue when I said pin

and springbar is still springbar
