There have been a lot of posts over the years about regretted sales. Or watches that just slipped through your fingers, by being an out-bid at an auction, waiting too long to complete a sale, etc. But have there been any you were just glad to get rid of, without a second thought? Maybe you found it unappealing on the wrist; mechanical problems that got to be too much of a headache; or some other reason?
A Seamaster F300hz diver - nice chunky watch but it was heavy and I swear I could hear it from inside a closed wardrobe...
I have to say my Seamaster Professional Chronograph. I had the Seamaster Pro 300M (still do) and loved it. I wanted a chronograph, and since I loved my Seamaster, I figured that would be the perfect watch. Didn't turn out that way. I just couldn't get used to the watch and sold it after a few months. Never missed it. That and a Breitling GMT I bought and never warmed up to it.
I had a GP with a fluted bezel and gold dial, it looked like a poor-man's Rolex. Sold it to a guy in Japan who fell in love with it, so in a rare moment, both parties were thrilled.
That would have to be a reply to another post: "What the _____was I thinking when I bought this s___t?"
