Which Modern Speedy?

Hi folks,

I am looking to add one modern Speedy to my collection. I currently have a Moonwatch sapphire sandwich and ST Ultraman.

Here are my shortlisted:
1. Speedmaster Moonphase Co-Axial Master Chronometer

Pros: Love the dial and moonphase (I love tri sub dial more than two sub dial)
Cons: 16.9mm thick! Even for my 7.5" wrist and weight


2. Speedmaster Racing 9900 (Panda dial)

Pros: Nice panda dial, 15.3mm thickness is acceptable for me, latest 9900 movement
Cons: Prefer Moonwatch style more than racing style, 44mm is quite big for white dial

3. Speedmaster DSOTM 9300

Pros: Ceramic case and light weight
Cons: Not a fan of its leather strap, may change to nato strap instead, thicker than 9900 version

I also think should I wait for all their Speedies 9300 to upgrade to 9900 version which should reduce some thickness

Does this mean you want to add an automatic Speedmaster to your other handwind pieces? The ones you listed can be found second hand below RRP. Best to consider this before buying.
For the DSOTM, that's a textile strap standard fitted as seen in the picture, not leather. If it has to be an automatic I would opt for DSOTM but full set second hand. Starting at around $7K..

I too like to the look of DSOTM but heard that its strap is not durable. And I also tend to prefer steel bracelet because I tend to expose to water (hand washing) from time to time. If that strap is durable to water, that will be very helpful
