Hi all,
my wife inherited from her mother ( who inherited from a cousin) a wristwatch.
We don't know much about Omega watches, so pease help us.
On the front it says OMEGA and Swiss made. The back is blank..
In the clasp thre is a "11" in a circle, a greek omega in a triangle and a "585" in a diamond/lozenge.
The there is a number: 711.8352 L.
Please see the pictures.
Does anybody know the model name, production date? Any hint is welcome.
Thanks and regards
Frank

585 stands for 14 karat gold. The watch itself probably doesn't have a dedicated name like Seamaster or de ville. It is a 14k omega watch.

The 711 means "ladies' bracelet watch, manual wind (no second), non-water-resistant.

Stylistically late 1970s into the 80s. Probably either a caliber 620 or 625 17-jewel movement.

Unfortunately these aren't worth much more than the scrap value of the gold.

A page from a 1977 Omega catalog showing its sibling, a 711.8360:

So a production date of 1976-1977 seems reasonable
