I’m trying to decide between getting the OG white dial or the Anthracite grey dial. I live in Calgary and there are no dealers anywhere near me so I can’t look at these watches in person.

My concerns / thoughts:

I likely will only wear this watch on a leather strap or nato.

The white dial is classic and more legible, but do you think it’s too dressy to wear down to casual but nice T shirt and jean wear?

The anthracite might appear a bit more modern looking and might be easier to dress down. But is it as nice looking?

I generally like both dial colors and have similar colours in my collection.

To help judge here are some good pics I found online of both…

THe white dial is the classic and for me it defines the watch. just remember this watch isn't water resistant so you need to almost treat it like a vintage watch. My son bought a Sternglass in grey and I quite like the look however.

Hey @Mugul if you are in Calgary, you might want to hit up the group on CWC (canadian watch collector), you could ask the same question and might scare up someone local who has one that you might try on……

That said, I prefer the white but have not put one on since a visit to the MOMA a decade ago.

The white dial is waaaaay better than the other one! Much classier and timeless

Both are nice, but I would go for the white dial. The minute track and batons on the white dial appear finer, and I prefer that look. In my opinion, it's not even close to being too dressy. Easy to wear in a casual setting.

White for me... Just classic. Got the manual one, and it is just a great dial.

Sorry, but i would go with the grey ...

*I think the white seems also wider...

+1 for white. My favorite is the version without the Arabic numerals.

I'm usually not into white dials, but in this particular case white is the way to go. The watch is much more striking in that color than in the grey alternative.

Those are nice! I'd love to see one without a date.
Me too.

…and under £600!
