Omega Gold SpeedMaster 145.022, the original from 1969. Is it rare enough? 😀
That is a very nice one.
Oval O
Low number
Correct DO90
If it has a full length bracelet, it's hard to beat

1958 Omega CK2990 Ranchero. Rare because they were only made for two years and there aren’t very many that haven’t been redialed, relumed, frankened or some combination of the three. This one is original and correct for the reference.

Well, this one is the most valuable watch that I have, I bought this one to celebrate my first born child,
I have share this one before with you Guys, but I could also share a funny story?

Having the watch and showing my daughter to friends and family, the question came - so....what did you buy for your wife?

Erhhm….I have never run so fast to the jeweler's shop!!😁

Cheers!

Not sure if this counts, but 1968-issued Smiths 6Bs are relatively rare - roughly 250 or so issued that year. Rare or not, still a cool watch.

A belated response, but well done on a fabulous piece.

Adding my 0552 naval version

This is my first post, therefore I am unsure of the rarity or true value but I would like to share my very interesting auction purchase in Glasgow, Scotland a few days ago with photographs and perhaps the Omega enthusiasts will be able to enlighten me, thank you? I think I got an absolute bargain as it was in a joblot with four other very boring & cheap dress watches.

The watch is a tiny little 1939 Omega Acier Staybrite with fantastic provenance as it comes with a French receipt from Lille, dated 9th March 1940 which is only a few months before the signing of the armistice after the Battle of France following the German WW2 invasion.

I hope the Omega enthusiasts enjoy the photographs and also agree, that I have (pardon the pun) won a watch on this purchase .

PS it is not the original leather strap, however upon winding, this little watch keeps excellent time 😁.

I’m wearing mine today. I’ve only seen one other like it. Most of these types of watches are from the 40s-50s and it shows. Unsubstantiated story from the other guy is they found some NOS movements and made these sometime in the 80s-90s. But he also claims there are many to be found online which is just not the case. Even more perplexing is my movement is signed by the Record Watch Company and the other one is signed Minerva. Gave up trying to prove anything long ago but I talked to a watchmaker who thinks it could be original because of the level of finishing on the movement. I’m not quite so optimistic. Oh well.

The other guy had his listed at $11k for years. Now it's "Price on Request". Don't think he's very motivated to sell it. 😁 Here's his. Slightly different hands and not as pristine.

My rarest watch is this Omega Regatta, only 20-50 were ever made and were sold at an event in Australia by Omega. This was purchased from the son of an Americas Cup crew member. One can be seen in the Omega museum. This one has lived its life in a drawer and has no fade, original case back sticker still in place, all original parts and is in amazing condition. Really can't imagine there's many/any left in this shape!
