Now THAT is cool! Is that hours, minutes, and then seconds from top to bottom? If so, if ever there was a watch that I’d like to see a video of as well as a photo, then that Sir is the watch!!

my above reply was actually incomplete and i still owe one, a short video of the 1st digital watch (jump hour) working. note that i dont really wind this anymore because it's almost a 100 years old. sorry for the little shake, i hope you can see the seconds hand rotating. thanks.

Wow amazing thread that Blancpain really is stunning. I have no “rare” or very special watches. But allow me to participate with my humble offerings if you will.

now the seiko cocktail blah blah. I don’t remember what they named this one after but “limited” to 5,000 but that really doesn’t sound that limited to me and of course it’s just the dial color they made many of this style in different colors. Darn just realized plastic still on the back

The other being the Rado captain cook limited to 1,962 but they do a yearly release of variations of these so again, in reality not that rare but I like them both a lot. I would have picked them up if they didn’t have the “Ltd thing”

This is the only known example of a black dial SAS in a 20214 case (one other example of this exact same dial seen in a SS 20217 case). As with any examples where there is so little known, they spark debate.....

This one is rare I believe, the mirror dial variant at least, I've only ever seen one other.

1974 Megaquartz.

Based on examples that come up for sale, I agree that the second series (caliber 15.26) seems to be the least prevalent. However, it is difficult to say how limited production was. I do not know whether the movements with later serial numbers were old stock or not. As for the first and third series, it is difficult to estimate production numbers. First series examples often lack order numbers so one cannot guess that way. Looking at the order numbers of the third series, 3000 (minimum) seems likely.

An aside, but I thought wrt Majeteks that issued Eternas were the least numerous.

This De Ville. Made for Japan market, they come on sale very rarely, maybe once in a 2 years.

Like some said about rare vs uncommon. I am not sure what this is but this vintage Longines Sei Tacche in a Tre Tacche 35mm case is from 1943.

In total perhaps but of the 3 series of Majetek the series 2 is the most rare.

Lovely, but what do you mean by sei tacche in a tre tacche case?

That’s amazing. I’ve been stuck home for a bit been watching some Bogie movies. In one of them the radio was playing and an ad for Gruen watches came on. Probably old time product placement. Im a big Bogart fan if you don’t mind me asking did you get a piece like that via auction? That is a cool piece of history.
