The Gallet is the most rare of this bunch but they’re all uncommon for different reasons.
The Rolex 6094 Red Date (first Oyster Case w/ Date) is one of the first 25 made and its in killer condition. Bought it for 500 bucks from a pawn in the middle of nowhere.
I just realized that I failed to show the rarest in my collection...only two of these RGM 455 exist. Mine and the guy who commissioned the custom enamel dial....
I bought the UNDONE Peanuts Panda last year, one of 150 made, but recently won their “One World” completion for one of three not for sale limited watches.
That will be the rarest watch I own, when it arrives.
Is fair to say watches from these lesser known brands are often pretty low in n numbers, but this one I only ever saw a single other the same. No longer have the watch.
This was the best watch photo I've ever taken I think.
I suspect my Midland is a pretty rare breed. Can't find much of anything on the net about the brand other than one striking example of a higher grade asymetric electro mechanical product with no one able to find any info on it either.
It may not be so uncommon in Europe and just seldom encountered on this side of the pond.
I did find the movement is one once popular with high end Hamilton and similar brands.
Runs like a new one, so likely serviced not long before I got it for a song.
Not expensive, but the only one I've ever seen with this dial. Squale signed 1553 caseback that seems to pre-date the North Eagles ones. Not mil issue but reportedly only available at the Italian PX's while in active service.
