Have serviced an Omega 2759-1 SC 2761 . Does it have the correct crown for this model. Some say clover crown and some say it's correct crown now . Other say it should be a crown like this. s-l1600 (6).jpg
Can you please help us. Me and the owner. DSC00637.JPG DSC00635.JPG DSC00634.JPG DSC00633.JPG DSC00632.JPG

Dial furniture doesn’t matter, crowns were based on the case reference. Typically at least with these Seamasters the version/iteration of the case reference also doesn’t matter (ie -1 vs -9).

I actually think the correct crown is a slight variant to the clover crown. See mine below and this thread here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/thoughts-on-this-50s-seamaster.101576/

This would not be an easy crown to find, so I would go with the more common clover crown as @X350 XJR recommended, at least until I find the correct one.

What's the movement serial number? I wouldn't be so quick to claim the domed crown is wrong.

Serial number is 13937737 . Think the owner have an extract from the archives . Seen it on a Swedish forum. But it says nothing about the crown there i think .
Really nice Omega model this . Could see myself have one :)

I have seen some early ones on goggle with the same domed crown . Saw one with same caseback number 2759-1 and a serial number starting 1404.... So is it wrong to leave as is and belive that it's the crown that was there from the start ?

There is a school of thought that says it might not be "correct" but it's part of the history of the watch.

I saw a couple identical to yours with the domed crown. I'd leave it.
