i think it's really nice... kind of like my alden cordovan shoes, which i love, and am not sure i'd ever buy any other type of shoes.

Also check out the bands at Leffot. They have some sweet cordovan bands if that's what you're after.

 

Kelaran (eBay ID = soulsis78556h) is the best bargain for real gator. Otherwise I go custom Hadley-Roma.

I need to check strap by myself, I hate stiff ones, so a buy an equivalent brand of Hirsch in France: ZRC they've got plenty of low price and quality product, but you've got to go to their handmade strap : mine is a mat black/dark navy blue Bull strap which is the most comfy I have ever wear! and cheap as well 29 euros
