I had my Speedmaster 47 years ago with date bracelet apr1968 before Apollo 11. I stole it after 15 years of use and abuse. Now I would like to buy a Speedmaster Apollo 11 45th Anniversary Limited Edition, new of course, but I'm afraid that there should be none left unsold. Can anyone guide me with this? Thanks a lot

    welcome.

If you are looking for a new, unsold piece, start with your local Omega Boutique, or Authorized Dealer. Most likely they will tell you the 45th anniversary piece is completely sold out and no longer available.

After that, you will need to look for it online, there are many good sources and this piece does come up for sale frequently. There are at least 2 available on Ebay right now. watchrecon.com is another good place to check, from there you'll find this one: http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t=tree&goto=7189719&rid=0#msg_7189719 This forum has a marketplace, so keep your eye out there, and then there is places like chrono24.com.

Good luck. the 45th is an awesome Speedy. I put mine on the titanium bracelet which takes it up another level.

You might reach out to respected OF member Kringkily and see if he can source one for you?

Their estimate on that piece is laughable.

If you pick one up, you can throw on a nifty titanium speedy bracelet for a cool $1000.

    Welcome @aguins!

@bb58 is bang on the money. The TI bracelet does not photograph well as an option for the XI-45, but in the wild I can guarantee that it does work and it takes the XI-45 to a new level. Here is my Speedy XI-45 having a chat with two distinguished gentlemen...

That gunmetal grey color is definitely discernible and looks so so good.

Are Bonhams smoking something? That is a super low estimate!

    https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23507/lot/343/

    OUCH!!! :eek:::censored::

25% on the first £50,000 of the Hammer Price
20% from £50,001 to £1,000,000 the Hammer Price
12% from £1,000,001 of the Hammer Price

VAT at 20% will be payable on the amount of the premium.

so lets say it sells for £5k + £1,250 Premium + £250 in VAT = £6500 which is at a £1700 premium over the original MSRP of £4890!!

Buy the one on eBay @ 5k! lol

I now wish i had kept my 3 and not sold 2 of them!

If you look through the entire catalog for this particular auction most the estimated prices seem a little low. There is a Railmaster in there that i am particularly interested in as well as some of the JLC pieces. It will be my first auction so interested to see just how many of the items fall within the estimates as i'll probably not bother in future if they all go way over.

for anyone who is interested in anything i plan to go and look over the pieces i am interested in either this weekend or next so if you want anything looking at or some more detailed photos please let me know.

As has already been said here, with buyer's premium etc maybe not so laughable. The whole auction is kind of sucky though; did you see that Camaro with the Autavia dial? Shameful :D

Sorry, operator error. The Tourbillon in Miami may still have one. Make sure the warranty is straight. Good luck

They had one like 8 months ago not sure if it will still be there though. The warranty will be legit as its Swatch Group.

I saw one in person and I was blown away but the price was too steep for me at the boutique. I'd love to own this or the Alaska Project some day. Maybe both if the Nigerian Prince comes through.

Now that is a thing of beauty, transformed by the X-33 Ti bracelet. Is that the Omega part number 020TIZ000765? Can you tell me what the all-up weight is? I have read elsewhere that it is exceptionally light.

Thank @Longbow. Yes the TI bracelet is indeed the 020TIZ000765...and yes it is extremely light and feels very smooth on the wrist. Wearing it right now actually as I write this post:)

Here are another few pics to tempt you:)...sorry about the specs of dirt on the dial.
