Where do I go now?

So, awhile back I bought a 2531.80. I loved it and wore it daily for 6 months before I had a life change that made me feel as though I needed to let it go. It was the perfect under the radar if-you-know-you-know watch and I loved it for that. There were a few things I wasn't crazy about - I wish the hour hand was longer. The 12:00 indices were fuzzy and patina'd in a non-appealing way.

So, I'm trying to figure out if I should snag another one, or if I should go different. I've always loved the 2500 PO's (especially the 45mm, had a 42mm VERY briefly and felt too small), of course the other classics (Peter Blake, Casino Royale, etc.).

Any recommendations on something in the sub $2500 range used?

Not sure about sub-$2,500 but look at the Seamaster 2220.80. Very similar to the 2531.80 but with a longer minute hand and applied indices. It has the 2500C or 2500D movement in it.

Also not sure about sub-$2,500 but I would check out the 2254.50 Peter Blake SMP and the 2201.50 Planet Ocean (42mm, 2500C or 2500D movement).

Probably going to go with a 2220.80 or a 2200.50 PO. A very big difference in size but I love them both!
