Do they have baseball down under? Besides, I don't think one plunk with a bat will take down an elephant. It would only piss him off. I'd have to be riding a cheetah to get away fast enough.
Are the New Jersey Tourist Board aware of all this exotic wildlife in your area - just imagine what they could do. NJ Safari's could be all the rage
You'd think with all the whackings over the decades that Italians would be an endangered species but that isn't the case.
Because in general they don't take out the females and immature specimens. It's all been thought out.
And that folks, is why we have "The Jersey Shore"! This was too easy. My, we have gone off-topic, haven't we? gatorcpa
From the eBay link above, it states that it is waterproof. I wonder if this strap is waterproof because it came from the shark skin?
How about Hippo Pygmy hippopotamus shot during Northern Territory hunting trip http://www.ntnews.com.au/article/2009/11/16/101241_ntnews.html Edit link above didn’t work anymore so here is a updated one https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...p/news-story/1461ccca27470bd37db65d0d46ac51f2
Damn, how serendipitous. This could end up saving us a fortune. Can you make contact with the parties involved?
I have this Strap in 99%TZ, also the dark Tan Croc curved double ridge Mint with tag - also the clasp
Very kind of you both to say so - Thanks. A good keeper is always worth a rewind... Used to collect, these were rare and beautiful (original Omega) when I bought them new about 16 years ago. I think I wore the Shark a couple of times and then the Speedy went out of the mix for a while. I was looking through some old watch stuff. Not sure of the rules on the forum, however yes I suppose I may be open to offers. Al “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes"
After trying and failing to find an OEM double ridge shark strap, I ended up having one made by trinhlemai.7strap. I think it's a close approximation of the OEM strap and definitely worth the price (~1/10th the cost of a pre-owned Omega one). The leather is surprisingly soft and flexible. I did end up replacing the buckle with a deployant clasp, but otherwise very happy with this strap. The workmanship is definitely better than the Hadley Roma strap that I had purchased to scratch the itch, so to speak: Very comfortable on the wrist:
