I’ve met too many folks in Connecticut where I’ll be retiring

First, good luck enduring the wait till your surgery, and may you recover quickly once it’s done.

Secondly, WHY CONNECTICUT? Nobody goes to CT willingly for anything other than to fly out of Bradley to someplace better.

(I live about 5 miles from the MA/CT border on the MA side.)

I have family there. I'll be in the shoreline area well north of New Haven. It's actually a very nice place to be. On the train line between New York and Boston. Certainly not inexpensive, but then none of New England is unless you want to live a pretty isolated life in rural Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont and endure some very long, cold winters.

Sorry to hear about your injury Greg. Golf is a fun game but I prefer the variant that uses flying discs AKA frisbees. Not sure it’s any easier on the knees although there are plenty of older folks that play.

When you said flying discs I immediate thought you were going to say Trap & Skeet- like golf, but louder and far more fun. Risk for injury is usually less than golf… unless you are with Dick Cheney.
