    Good morning team,

    I have been so amused about a recent evil bay listing that I thought I should share it with you...

    Here is the description:

    OMEGA SEAMASTER VINTAGE 18K PINK GOLD 33MM SIGN OMEGA FAB SUISSE IN GOOD CONDITION REF 2866 WITH RARE BROWN WITH LIGHTER CENTER ORIGINAL DIAL SIGN OMEGA AUTOMATICO (SPANISH MARKET) SEAMASTER PINK GOLD MARKERS AND HANDS PINK GOLD CROWN WITH LOGO MOVEMENT RECENTLY SERVICE CAL OMEGA 501 IN GREAT CONDITION RUNS AND KEEPS TIME WE SHIP WORLDWIDE

    (I have set the important parts to bold script)

    And here the truth:

    "rare all original dial" - yes, of course as it has the "seastar" which should be expected for a real Seamaster :D

    Has got a Seamaster back but relying to the Omega data base ref. 2866 is a ref. out of the "Tresor" line ::facepalm1::

    I do not know how he managed to get a SM medallion on a Tresor´s back, but I think the seller´s name tells it all:

    "tumipartsservice" :whipped:

    Highly recommended if you are looking for a rare, one of a kind watch :p

    Enjoy and have a nice weekend!

    Erich

    Seller should talk to Mad Dog for ideas on getting that dial to a nice even brown!
