from my own journey all this box and paper nonsense is just to squeeze out the last penny from a buyer. and 90% of the offers are completely assembled sets. i will not pay a cent more for a b and p set as for the naked watch. happy that i got rid of all that useless drawer fillers i had

From a collector point of view I disagree. The problem is the ignorance beyond these boxes and that someone take advantage from that. I personally consider sone of these boxes real pieces of design.
On the other hand I agree with you, 90% (I would say also 99%) of the “full sets” for sale are put together, but if one has some experience can skip them. Than if I am able to find a full set from a reliable source (relatives of the first owner for example) I am happier.

This arrived this morning, I have had them in the past, but this is my first one for a long time.

I love a full set box and papers, and only buy complete if i have a choice. That crater is very nice too ! But i see some asking prices that are ludicrous, like 1600,- or the ones from the seller listed by TS. Maybe it is a gift for a loved one and in that case really shows profound understanding of a spouses hobby 😀
