Several years ago, I sold my Rolex Oyster Daytona Cosmograph. I figured that, should I kick the bucket, and my wife calls someone to come and make a offer on my collection, the offer for the whole collection would be less that the price I got for the Daytona! And I sold the Daytona for far below what I see them being offered at, on eBay, and other on line sources. (Do people actually pay those prices?). So, one by one, I'll divest myself of a few, and then let my estate worry about what is left over. One down, 119 left to go.
