When did the Seamaster "TV DIAL" era end?

Ok. I have dug and dug and have found nothing. I am trying to figure out when the last year of the seamaster TV dial (both quartz and automatic) was.

I am hunting for a NOS TV Dial. I am having a hard time figuring out the different colors offered as asian sellers have seemed to customize 8/10 on the market at any given time, so I figured I would backtrack and figure out final production year. Timed google searches show (incorrect?) late 80s TV dials being listed out of South Korea / Thailand ?

Where they continued onwards in Korea longer?

Any advice is appreciated. New to watches - as in have only had Movado's and Tag's here and there.

I'm not sure if you realize this, but you started a new thread regarding your earlier inquiry pertaining to the Seamaster TV Dial. Cheers!

Did you read that thread? I did. Nobody has a clue and he listed a bunch of Asia based listings. Fast forward six years and it's the same scenario. Is there no experts on 70s 80s Seamasters?

No, I didn’t read it. Simply thought that it might have some links that would be useful to you. Sorry if they were not.

No need to apologize, I am just shocked it hasn't been brought up and clarified yet! I appreciate your effort to help. Trying to figure out if one is a good choice or not. I am clueless with watches sadly

Lots of redials from Asia for sure, I do remember Watchco dumping a ton out of their stock about 10 years ago in Australia but they’re all hidden in collections now.

If you post pictures of the watch it might make it easier, there is often some argument about what even constitutes a TV-dial, as they didn’t really end on a fixed date but sort of blended into other shapes with time

We have a 200 post requirement on the sales section for fraud reasons, it helps us get to know people before they post something like that.
