Food related, but not food per se. We produced and packaged 40 jars of dry rub seasoning plus one bulk container today to ship to my father-in-law's guest ranch in Montana. That'll raise $240 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and put my wife at $850 out of her $6000 goal for this year. The rub is a brown sugar and cayenne base with lots of other seasonings in it and is amazing on chicken, pork, seafood, toasted nuts, popcorn and more. We use this stuff multiple times a week and her dad uses it on all the proteins he cooks at the chuckwagon after the horse rides. We are thinking about trying to ramp up for distribution of the stuff as a retirement gig in the future.

Great weather here yesterday so brought all the deck furniture out and had the first beer of the season on the deck...

And last night had burgers (we didn't have buns so just used some bread) with grilled onions and Brie on them...they were awesome...

Just finished a 2 hour tennis clinic so will be back out on the deck with a beer shortly...

Sounds like a great weekend. Looking forward to starting up the backyard waterfall in the next week or two here, but Spring patio weather is a little delayed here.

Feasting like royalty tonight with some great views of the city, fabulous wine and excellent food (bison prime rib).

I know Dennis (ulackfocus) loves fine wine so I thought it might be fun to start a food and wine thread.

After @Baco Noir talking about dry rub seasoning thought I would do a dry rub pork roast for dinner tonight.

Got a bit of Lauries Dry Rub Seasoning above on its way downunder..... 👍

So i guess ya'all love Food and wine, too. Just like myself.

Being a professional drinker (winemaker) from Germany, i just stumbled recently into vintage watches. Well, yet another crazy Passion - i already was into vintage cars, guitars, espresso machines, houses and Studio recording Equipment...now ANOTHER Thing...oh dear...😉

What i found out over the time is, that most People who share a Passion, share other Interests they have, too. People who love vintage cars often like vintage Coffee machines or watches, too, for example.

So if anyone ever Comes Close to Stuttgart, South Germany, contact me and feel free to visit. Love vintage things, good Food and wine? Right place to go.

Come on over!!! 😉

Yumoh! Looks delish!

But what's all those coloured bits around the sides?

😉

Roasted whole garlic is the punch to a roast, just make sure the S Lady has it too, that way both garlic breaths cancel out 😁

It's too early to be this hungry...

I can't say no to cheesecake. It's my guilty pleasure. Sure doesn't help that I'm lactose intolerant...

how about a cheese and charcuterie plate?

.

Looks delicious! We love doing that on a Friday night on the patio with a nice wine. Good way to end a mentally taxing week.

Tonight we went outside the box - this was amazing.

Lobster imperial with crab stuffed mushrooms and grilled asparagus. I did this cook for a seafood challenge on the Primo grill forum. I wish we ate like this all the time!
