I've been lucky enough over the last few months to begin my collection with my all time favorite....

Followed in rapid succession by my second all time favorite, which will perform daily beater duty!

The phrase 'double grail' springs to mind!

There is no way to pick one favorite. The term is too general. I love them all, and for many different reasons.
It might be sentimentality.... functionality..... shear beauty.... or some gestalt.
So, to use @tyrantlizardrex 's answer (which is the same as mine), whatever is currently telling the right time, and on my wrist.
This one...😀
My favorite two
When I was a Navy helicopter pilot in the 80's and 90's...it seemed [from what I remember] that most of my peers wore Casio G-Shocks and Seiko divers. Of the Seiko divers, most wore quartz...very few of us wore automatics. Today, at Delta, most of my peers wear any style of quartz Casio, Citizen or Seiko...I have encountered a few that wear Rolex Subs and/or GMT Masters as well as one that wears a vintage Glycine Airman automatic...and one that wore a vintage Seiko brown bullhead automatic [because he knew he was flying with me]. For the record, I am the only one [that I know of] that sometimes wears vintage railroad grade pocket watches at the office [see below]. 😁
