What's your daily?

I go back and forth between the 57 Seamaster and x-33 Skywalker

not much else needed between those two

(I have to admit that I do like the functionality an apple watch brings, but I can’t stand to look at it for more than a few hours)

Probably this as it does everything I need. But the irony is I never wear it, literally. I rotate and tend to pick something interesting. Colour, dial, design.

The gmt is just good. a very good vanilla watch for most situations.

I feel bad as this is an omega forum, my choice is purely a daily functional one.

For context I find the fois, 1957 line esp the speedy, the 1948 seamaster, several museum pieces infinitely more charismatic and enjoyable to wear than the gmt.

Unless I know I’m really going to be banging it around, I wear my Speedmaster Professional 24/7, especially after putting it on an Uncle Seiko 1171 a few weeks ago.

Speedy pro hesaliteon bracelet for me, to do anything, anywhere.
X33 is next though, it’ll be a nice addition to a 2 watches collection.

Ditto.

Since I tend to time all my workouts, vehicle oil/filter changes [see pic below], and other stuff...I tend to wear the standard Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch most of the time...

Yeppers...the good old Speedy Gonzales Moonwatch really came in handy today at the car show...

Nice! I feel like most guys that can afford a luxury watch don’t do their own oil changes

I do my own oil changes as well!

I do my own oil changes as well.............on my watches. On my vehicles, I have a mechanic who does those.

Then, change the watch face more frequently. ... 😀

Suunto All-Black Military Core, I have changed the lug set-up, added a sturdy leather NATO, use it when working on our new "old" house.
Just wish I knew how to change the LED to a brighter one, Denzil Washington wore one in the Equalizer films but the Led had been changed in that one (apparently) to make it brighter.
Mine is on the highest setting but is still not bright.

I can't bear the puppy dog eyes look the other watches would give me for not being worn in equal measure if I would have a favorite.😜

My current daily is a PO 2201.50. I occasionally switch it out with the Globemaster.

I wish I could learn to service a watch. I think it would be beyond cool to work on cars and watches.

A local watchmaker offered me an apprenticeship, but I have not made the time to meet him

🙁

I don't understand why anyone would change the oil on their cars themselves, since my Toyota dealer does it so cheaply (full synthetic too) and you have to recycle the old oil. Maybe 40 years ago it made sense but not today.

A lot of us here probably have more than a few watches and even a few Omegas. What do you consider your daily piece even if you have a rotation?

For me it's the standard hesalite speedmaster. When it doubt, I give it a wind and throw it on without overthinking it.

I don't thknk I've ever had a watch that has take more wrist time than this one
