·The way the colour seems to be bleached at the edge looks strange. How might this have happened? Also, the text looks rather uneven so I'm assuming this is a redial anyway, but still, that patina...?

·I think it may have been cleaned at some point and there has been some sort of effect where the dial was damaged by moisture. Note that the hands are without lume, which has been removed/lost too.
