So I'm starting to look at buying a pre moon Speedmaster, and I'm slowly getting the hang of spotting original ones.
This one threw me off a bit. Seller states that this is the original DON bezel in very good shape. To me though, it looks like the numbers on the bezel are too far to the outside, and are not even completely visible.
Compared to this example from Speedmaster101 it just looks fake.
    What are your thoughts?

Bezel printing QC wasn't great back then - just look at the 220 version for confirmation - so it's possible this is just fine. I've seen a few with similar issues, and have even seen a double-printed bezel in person. I'd ask for closer-up photos of the edge of the bezel just to be careful, but nothing about it raises suspicion

Just the way it was printed. Possibly a misprint back in the 60's-70's.
