Hi, I'm hoping someone can help, I'm hoping to identify this Omega, I'm fairly new to watch collecting so would appreciate some guidance, please see picture,
It would help if you opened the case, either by unscrewing it or unclipping it. For the former, if you haven’t got tools, a squashy rubber ball or dogs' Kong toy, pressed against the caseback can be used. If it’s a clipped-on back, it’s possible to insert a very slim knife blade in the aperture. You could then photograph the inside of the caseback, photograph the movement, the movement number, and the serial number. And then post the photos on this thread. You need to take sharper and more focussed photos than the one you have posted so a better photo of the face of the watch would also help. If you don’t feel confident about opening the case, a local watch repairer will generally be happy to do so but may charge you a small fee. Good luck.
Welcome to the forum, the dial is very blurry and no one can tell you anything based on so little. Please see the link below: https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-posting-guide.383/ Also it would help if you clarified your purpose. Is this a watch you like, that you’re thinking of buying, or a watch you own / have already bought?
Maybe a 14707 S? Here's an ebay auction that looks similar that has an open movement (if yours matches): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Om...tch/114575677574?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
