A watch that came with another purchase has me scratching my head. image.jpeg image.jpeg

It sort of has the usual info on the case back but my first impression is that it's a FrankenUni because of the Vertex movement.

    Does anybody know?

    Cheers

Could you post a picture of the movement?

I don't think that's a UG. From what I can see on the case back (or the inside of the case) there's nothing linking it to UG and the mechanism is not UG. I would say that the only thing UG about this watch is the dial. The outside serial numbers do not correspond to anything UG.

Definitely not a UG. As @Jonatan said, maybe the only part UG is the dial.

It's a Milex from the 1940s to 60s. They were a well known lower tier brand. You can pick up a little brother for this one on eBayPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network :D
